The Derwent Sailing Squadron is home to Tasmania’s largest and most advanced club marina, a versatile, well-maintained facility offering a wide range of berthing options for both members and visiting vessels.

With space for up to 280 boats - from cruising and racing yachts and multihulls to 30-metre superyachts and powerboats, the marina has been designed for convenience, safety, and flexibility. Generous fairway widths and depths of up to 12 metres make for stress-free berthing, even for larger craft.

At the Squadron, we prioritize the security and convenience of our berth holders. With advanced security measures in place, access to the marina is restricted to marina pass holders. Additionally, we provide onsite parking for added convenience and peace of mind.

Whether you're seeking a short-term stay or a permanent lease, we have options to suit your needs:

• Casual Berths: Our casual rates are available for stays ranging from 1 day up to 6 months. To secure a berth, we kindly ask you to review our terms and conditions and complete a casual berth enquiry form. We'll promptly respond to confirm berth availability and provide you with a link to complete the berth booking form.

• Permanent Leases: We offer a variety of lease options for those seeking a long-term arrangement. If you're interested in a permanent lease, please complete the enquiry form, and our team will promptly reach out to discuss availability and provide further details.

Boatyard

7. Trailer Boat Storage: Secure, accessible storage with convenient rigging and launching space.
8. Float Docks: For jet skis and small powerboats, convenient access and safe storage.

Additionally, we offer onsite services such as boat brokerage, sailmaking, and yacht care, ensuring all your boating needs are met conveniently in one location. We prioritize accessibility with all-ability shower and toilet facilities, as well as coin and card-operated washing and drying machines located near the marina entrance.
