This course is designed to improve your boat handling skills, especially in confined areas such as marina’s and in swell and waves.
Cost is $195 per person.
Pre-departure checks, engine and fuel checks, course navigation and passage planning, man overboard recovery, boat handling techniques in swells and waves, towing.
To gain the Australian Sailing Powerboat Handling certificate requires attending a 8 hour course which is generally run in one full day.
You will need to bring warm clothing, spray jacket, non-marking shoes, a cap or beanie and sunscreen. A life jacket and all course materials will be provided.
