The Derwent Sailing Squadron is excited to announce that entries are now open for the prestigious 2025 Australian Yachting Championships, set to take place on the River Derwent of Hobart, Tasmania.
The Australian Yachting Championships, a cornerstone of Australian competitive sailing, has a history that began with the Australian Offshore Keelboat Championship. With 2025 marking 25 years of the IRC Australian Championships, the annual event has grown to become a premier event showcasing top talent across various IRC classes.
The event will take place between the 3rd - 5th January 2025, off the back of the Rolex Sydney Hobart, Ocean Racing Club of Victoria Inc. (ORCV) - Melbourne to Hobart, Launceston to Hobart Yacht Race and the King of the Derwent Races, this is bound to be one massive weekend in Australian Yachting.
