The Boyes award is a youth encouragement award and this year goes to young sailor Isaac Archer from the Sandy Bay Sailing Club.
This yearโs recipientsโ journey in sailing over the last twelve months has been nothing short of impressive. Despite being just thirteen years old and having started helming an International Cadet barely a year ago, Isaac placed 5th overall in his debut Cadet Nationals. This result placed Isaac as the highest placed U14 helm in the Australian Championships.
