The Rosalind Kirkcaldie Exhibition

The exhibition will open January 16 at 6pm and will run through till February 23.
Roz is a Tasmanian artist. After achieving formal qualifications in graphic art in Queensland, she worked as an artist/designer for a number of years in film graphics.
Working in both watercolour and acrylic, her successful exhibitions include the Handmark Gallery (Salamanca Place), Meadowbank Winery, the Tasmanian Art Society Gallery, the Launceston Country Club and the Circle Gallery in Brisbane.
In addition to winning a number of art awards, Roz is regularly invited to exhibit her work for Tasmanian art prizes. She has sold her work in commercial art galleries and receives private commissions from her exhibitions The beauty of Tasmania remains a constant passion and provides the inspiration for most of her work.
Her paintings retain the bold graphic elements with which she has worked throughout her career. Tasmania’s distinctive light and the strength and solidity of its landscapes are frequently articulated in her vivid, structured canvases
